A second trial in gay slaying case could be risky, former D.A. says - latimes.com

Further update on the Brandon McInerney murder trial is that the DA in the case is expecting to re-try the murder case, but there is speculation that it may not end up in a conviction.

Once again, it's still fairly easy to get away with murder in this country, as long as it's a LGBT person that's killed. And this "negative background" that the defense is using is just a distraction from the real issue. Brandon openly shot and killed Lawrence King in 2008 in front of classmates with a .22 gun. He must be held accountable for that at the very least!
