GLSEN Day of SIlence

This Friday, April 15th continues the growing movement called the "Day of Silence" in schools around the country. Spurred on by the growing number of teenage suicides as a direct result of bullying in the schools, the DofS is a message of equality, a chance for teachers and teens to share the message that we all have value, that words can have a lasting and sometimes disastrous effect on another life, and that the time has come for the bullying and hate to end.
