Westboro to Picket Taylor Funeral?

Once again the Right to Free Speech is being misused by the now infamous Westboro Baptist Church as they threaten to picket the funeral of Elizabeth Taylor. As quoted from the Advocate.com,

"Maggie Phelps, daughter of Westboro Baptist Church founder and pastor Fred Phelps, tweeted, 'No RIP Elizabeth Taylor who spent her life in adultery and enabling proud f-gs. They cuss her in hell today.  Westboro will picket funeral!'"

Gosh golly they sure must be right proud of themselves acting like such adults and fine examples of the Christian's that Jesus portrays in the Bible...more

Update about the Westboro Church

Incredibly, this so-called Westboro "Church", a anti-gay, anti-anything that suits their tastes group of inciteful haters issued another statement about the shooter in the Tucson massacre, including a video.

The Westboro Baptist church in Kansas praised Jared Lee Loughner for killing six people and wounding 14 others, including pro-gay US congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords reports The Guardian.

The church has gained notoriety for disrupting funerals of soldiers and people who have died of AIDS, among other things. It claims the deaths are a punishment for society’s tolerance of homosexuality.

The church founder, Fred Phelps, posted a video in which he said: 

     “Thank God for the violent shooter, one of your soldier heroes in Tucson – Westboro Baptist church will picket their funerals.”

What is happening in this country and how far are we going to let these people go? This sort of statement should be considered a terrorist threat and this guy and his group throw in jail and sent to V.P. Cheney's House for a little waterboarding or somethnig. Whatever the answer may be, it can't continue. The right to Freedom of Speech under which this group is supposedly hiding behind was NOT intended to protect people from doing and acting like they do at the funerals of little girls killed by some crazed gunman who had nothing to do with anti-gay organizations.

Westboro Banned From Tucson Shooting Funerals

It's about time that somebody stood up to these people who have stretched their right to Freedom of Speech to the point of breaking every moral law in the land. They have no conscience, no feeling for others who don't think like they do...in fact ...isn't that pretty much the definition of a gang. Don't the police harass, photograph and arrest gang members for doing the things these people haters are doing?
