RealClearPolitics - Behind the Popular Blog of Washington Conservatives

We've been reading the articles blogged by the so-called Bi-partisan RealClearPolitics that claims to be the frontrunner in presenting impartial news regarding current political events. Some of their contributors include NOM's Maggie Gallagher and other Religious based bloggers.

From their "About Us page:
RealClearPolitics (RCP) is an independent, non-partisan media company that is the trusted source for the best news, analysis and commentary. Founded in 2000 by John McIntyre and Tom Bevan, Chicago-based RealClearPolitics covers all aspects of the U.S. political process including policy, elections and government.

We have researched just a little bit and found out that this site is actually 51% owned and controlled by Forbes Media.  (Wikipiedia)

Forbes Media announced on November 7, 2007 that it had acquired a 51% stake in RealClearPolitics.com. The founders will remain owners and management. In November, 2008, Forbes President and CEO Steve Forbes sent a memo directing that the company's online brands, including Forbes.com, Investopedia and  RealClearPolitics.com be combined. RealClearPolitics also owns RealClearMarkets, RealClearWorld and RealClearSports.  RealClearMarkets and RealClearSports were launched in November 2007. RealClearWorld, the international news and politics site, was launched in August 2008. RealClearScience and RealClearReligion launched in October 2010.
It seems that a lot of things are NOT "RealClear"!

No Gays Near Joe the Plumber's Kids

And here we have our famous "Joe the Plumber". All American, a fair  representative of the general population of men in this country.

But Joe isn't satisfied with the lack of media coverage since the elections are long over so he's found another way to get in the spotlight. So now he's a "homo hater", except he hasn't yet figured out how to be one yet even better.

Republican John McCain snubs Pentagon study on gays in military - PinkPaper.com

Republican John McCain snubs Pentagon study on gays in military - PinkPaper.com

I don't know about the rest of the country, but this guy seems to be the biggest thorn in everybody's side. Almost always taking the opposite position, especially when it comes to his war playing games. It's about time he retired and went back to the good 'ole days and lived on his farm like our past president and spent our hard earned money like the rest of the fat cats in the GOP are doing. Leave this alone McCain, you don't even know what you're talking ABOUT, but you are talking LIKE a big bully, setting an example for more bullying in our schools and more teens to be harassed, terrorized for being gay, beaten for the same thing, and taking their own lives because YOU think we aren't capable, worthwhile people. This happened in one World War and millions died because of the exact same persecution. By the way....do you live by a Mayan calendar? Popular opinion polls in this country and other countries, plus in the military AND among military leaders say discarding this DADT policy will have little to no affect, except from a few homophobic Marines who have a right to their opinion. WHAT COUNTRY ARE YOU COMING FROM? Who's paying you for this position?

It's Time That California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger "Won't Be Back"

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger vetoed three gay-friendly bills between 24 and 30 September, according to the Pink Paper Magazine.
California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger vetoed three gay-friendly bills between Sept. 24 and 30 September. PinkPaper.com can report.

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Prisoner Safety Act was designed to prevent violence in the state prison system by requiring the state to adopt national LGBT prisoner safety guidelines.
"Transgender people are 13 times more likely to be sexually assaulted in prison than non-transgender inmates," said Masen Davis, executive director of the Transgender Law Center. "The National Prisoner Rape Elimination Commission Standards are well-researched, practical and promising. It is shameful that implementation of these standards has been further delayed."

The bill also would have required the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation not to automatically segregate LGBT inmates and would have protected LGBT inmates from having to disclose their sexual orientation or gender identify to prison officials.

Schwarzenegger's veto message said: "This bill would require the sexual orientation and gender identity of an inmate or ward, among other risk factors, to be considered as part of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation's inmate and ward classification and housing assignment procedures. ... This measure is unnecessary because CDCR already considers these factors when determining where to house inmates."   More...
