Defense Technology 56895, MK-9 Stream Condiment Replacement

It would appear that Defense Technology 56895 MK-9 Stream, 1.3% Red Band/1.3% Blue Band Pepper Spray (Misc.) is a wonderful replacement for condiments according to Fox News' Megyn Kelly.

$73.92 In Stock

But sometimes good intentions have terrible results (insert laugh here)...
A few of my favorites:

At Megyn Kelly's suggestion. I now use Defense Technology 56895 MK-9 Stream, 1.3% Red Band/1.3% Blue Band Pepper Spray on all my cuisine that needs a little extra kick -- seafood, pasta, and pizza all get the UC Davis treatment at my house. The bloody Mary's are just amazing. I can't wait for this year's Christmas party!

And don't start any of that liberal whining about the Right to Assemble or protest peacefully. No one gave those scrambled eggs the right to assemble on my plate. The Constitution is for sissies, except for the Second Amendment, which should be followed to the letter.

I can't believe some of the positive reviews this product has received!!!! I remember a time in the 1960s when we had the backbone in this country to combat civil disobedience with bullets and baton charges. The liberals have absolutely runined this country and the fact that we have to rely on useless toys such as this "pepper spray" to combat violent insurrection makes me weep (oh the irony).

I teach middle school and after reading some of the raves on here purchased a canister of this pepper spray to keep in my desk drawer. Just last week several brats in my class (you know the kind - the 'readers') decided to hold a poetry "sit-in" for 20 minutes during recess. They said they were doing it in "solidarity" with the Occupy Wall Street movement.

I know sedition when I see it and wasn't going to allow such violent resistance to authority to occur for even one minute. As soon as they got on the gym floor and linked arms I did what any real American would - grabbed the canister and pointed the nozzle directly into their eyes. Oh sure, there was screaming and the usual crybaby hysteria but only a few of the students actually bled and doctors at the local trauma center said that the effects will only be permanent on three of the little Marxists - the rest will have no physically lasting effects.

Product is total garbage - you'd actually be better off with a reliable cattle prod.

I was told that this product was essentially a food item used to spice food. This pepper spray, instead, ruined the first meal I used it on due to being approximately 1,000 times hotter than the jalapenos I normally use. For the first time ever I think Fox News may have lied to me.

Trust me. You're going to love this product. It really is a pepper spray for the masses.

NOTE: Some assembly is required.

It just doesn't get any better than this!

Gay Man Stabbed, Beaten and Burned in Reno, TX

Via: Towleroad

The Dallas Voice has the details of a hideous hate crime that happened on Sunday, in Reno, Texas:
BurnBurke Burnett said he was at a private party at about 1 a.m. when four men suddenly attacked him, stabbing him at least twice with a broken beer bottle before throwing him onto a fire. His attackers yelled things like “pussy-ass faggot,” “gay bitch” and “c*ck-sucking punk,” Burnett said. Burnett said it took 30 stitches to close stab wounds to his back and forearm, as well as a cut above his left eye. He also sustained second-degree burns and severe bruises.

“They knew I was gay,” Burnett said Monday. “I’m convinced they were trying to kill me.”

Jeff Sugg, interim chief of the Reno Police Department, released a statement Monday afternoon saying: “The Reno Police Department is currently investigating an aggravated assault that took place last weekend. The investigation is ongoing and additional information will be provided when available.”

Burnett says he knows his attackers and was heckled at the party before the assailants began throwing punches. He is staying with a friend and says he's scared to go home, and scared it will "get brushed under the rug" in his small conservative town.

Many more details at this link.

Occupy Wall Street's Battle Against American-Style Authoritarianism

After reading the article several times, I think that, in general speak, the author is on target. I believe that over many years, even before Reagonomics pulled the rug out from under us without the people realizing it, we have been fed a stream of capitalistic 'logic' that has led us, much like the sheep mentioned, into a false sense that all is well.

Meanwhile our individual freedoms were gradually replaced by the rules of the ruling class with the thought that we shouldn't question such changes as everything we do is necessary for 'our protection', and that we should not question this self-authorized authority. When you take a look at the policies of the last 4-5 administrations you can see the pattern of 'dumbing-down' of America by the false media-controlled "truths" shoved down the throats of the people by the ruling class. Unable to distinguish between real and fake because of lack of education, control of information, and upper class "secrets", we have been slowly reduced to the point of being that herd of sheep, ready to accept anything told to us.

The OWS movement is something that has sprung out of the realization that individual freedom no longer exists, the Constitution can be applied as necessary by those who rule against those who don't understand, and that the current political system is evidence that the system is not only broken, but is the cause. So much of this is evidenced daily by the reaction of the police in each state to the OWS movement (e.g. using violence against peaceful protesting, the Republicans motto - "NO" - to anything involving social and financial reform), the reaction of the political machine as it changes reasoning and direction daily according to the corruption of power and the controlling hand of the super rich, and the disassociation of thought in so many comments on so many blogs and social networks left by people of a generation that were fed capitalistic dreams while their freedoms and bank accounts were being slowly, patiently drawn down behind their backs. The next generation seems to be unwilling to accept this, thankfully, and is now fighting against this broken system, but as the article mentions, is not forging ahead with a slogan or single sign, but as a "movement" that will hopefully change the entire system and bring back the capability, and ability, for a free-thinking people to bring socialism and capitalism together to function for the good of all.

That's my opinion only...agree or disagree, but only time is going to tell, and most of us that are commenting seem to be from the baby boomer generation. One I suspect won't be around long enough to see the final outcome of this new change. History does have a tendency to repeat itself.

Spirit Day October 20th

October 20th - Spirit Day!

I hope that as many as possible wore Purple today to help focus attention on Spirit Day and a smattering of subjects, including bullying, teen suicide, gay marriage, and other LGBTQ issues. I wore my "It Gets Better" t-shirt so that I could talk to everyone I met about it. Guess what! It worked...and people in general, even in my red-necked, rural town of Vermont at least were willing to listen to me and wish the best for all those that struggle with any of the issues I mentioned.

GOP Senators Kill Obama Jobs Bill as Boston Protestors are Arrested!

The fact that the Republican led Senate has killed President Obama's Job Bill comes as no surprise. Their hypocritical methods of politics once again shine brightly as they will most likely attempt to split up the bill, piece by piece, and then drown those in politics and filibusters.

They (Wall Street...aka the 1%) are not concerned about us, the other 99%, having to survive in this failing economy. No, the Republican Agenda of "Just Say NO" to anything Democrats propose is more concerned about gaining complete control of this country through their devious, misleading lies and Koch-backed political manipulation. It doesn't make any difference what the current administration proposes to get the economy going again, Republicans are going to vote against it, even though many of Obama's proposals are the very same ones that Republicans have previously proposed themselves as being the solution.

Is it any wonder that this country now has more than 200 cities involved in non-violent protest uprisings against the "1%" and Wall Street?

Speaking of that, apparently in Boston, where the Veterans for Peace were camped out in in the Rose Fitzgerald Greenway this morning, were dispersed and about 100 of them arrested by the Boston Police as the police commissions looked on. Other cities have reported the same actions being taken against them by the police, but no matter how hard they try the growing social movement around the country to change the direction we are going in is not going away and will not stop until change is made. I guess it remains unclear what that change will be however.

JP Morgan donates record $$ to NYPD after Demonstrations start!

Not much to say about this little ditty...apparently this happened within two days of the Wall Street Demonstration start. Money buys anything...in this case the lack of media coverage and harassment by the NYPD!

What do no parenting skills and a 14-year-old boy lead to?

Answer:

"It leads to bashing a lesbian on a Friday night at 3:25 am in Edmonton, Alberta, and a 14-year-old boy being arrested for it.

Shannon Barry sustained a broken jaw and a broken eye socket after she and some friends were taunted then physically attacked by a group of young dickheads. Barry had to undergo reconstructive surgery requiring some metal plates and the chance of permanent nerve damage.

As if that wasn’t enough, by the following Tuesday there was no record of the incident because the investigating officer hadn’t filed his report and went on vacation. Good to know someone's priorities were in order. According to police Chief Mike Boyd (who apologized for that screw up), after police learned of the error on Tuesday the hate crimes unit started investigating on Wednesday.

The officer is expected to face internal discipline for failing to properly file his report, Boyd said.

Const. Ken Smith of the hate crimes unit confirmed the unit is still investigating and additional charges are possible."

Notice that the officer doesn't face criminal charges for hate crimes like you and I would possibly face, or be brought up on dismissal charges, or maybe, just maybe, be called back from his damn vacation to finish this very critical report. We all know what "internal discipline" ends up in--more paid vacation and a slap on the back by his homo fearing buddies.
