Wow...another Republican finds a sensible way to eliminate autism and disabled people (even family). Just kick them, beat them, humiliate them in public. Works every time...except this time. What is wrong with people *my non-political discrimination language* when they beat their disabled kids.
Oh wait, I forgot! Republicans do endorse inequality for all except fellow rich ones, favor humiliation and jail for those who are too poor or unable to defend themselves, and definitely don't like other people interfering with their "Christian" family values. Values strictly based, of course, upon the literal translation of some Bible they alone possess and not generally available to the public. One that does allow discrimination, bullying, the raising of the rich to super elite status, and of course, does not in any way provide for ANY accountability for their actions.
As the saying goes, "Balls to the walls boys!" Time to kick these bullying, bible-thumping assholes to the curb! Times...they are a changing...and we the poor, oppressed, bullied, disabled and unequal will not take this twisted style of management any longer.

Friends say classmate killed self after bullying on sexuality
![]() |
| Jacob Rogers - December 7, 2011 |
Maybe if people - that means you school administrators - would start listening to these kids and take definitive action against bullying instead of sweeping it under the rug because "it's a phase...they're just kids", then maybe this will end. But adults don't like to be held accountable for their inaction. It's something they've passed on to their kids, and they in turn will pass it on to theirs.
By all account Jacob Rogers friends say that kids bullied him at Cheatham County Central High School for the past four years, but in the past few months it had become so bad he dropped out of school.
And Wednesday, December 7th, he ended his life. and I get to add another face, another name to my memories page.

Students Suspended in Rodemeyer Suicide
![]() |
| Jamey Rodenmeyer September 18, 2011 |
While they have not been named due to their age, the suspensions seem rather trivial and show a lack of accountability on the part of police, school administrators, and others involved in determining where to place blame.
As seems usual with cases involving teen suicide resulting from bullying, this is just another example of how far we have NOT come in dealing with educating the right people about bullying, and have not learned to recognize the signs of those who cry in the nighttime, but suffer in the daylight.
We MUST keep pressing, keep writing, keep pushing until this monster is gone from our midst. Young people that we have lost to this terrible disease of ignorance and hatred must not be forgotten and their deaths not in vain.

Case Closed: Jamey Rodemeyer's Bullies Not Charged | News | The Advocate
While the Brandon McInerney case ended up with some justice in the cold-blooded murder of a young student in school, this case serves to emphasize the point that there still exists injustice, hate and lack of accountability on the part of teachers, administrators, police and parents in educating our children when it comes to right and wrong.
You can read the sad article I refer to here, but what I wanted to post out there were some of the comments made following this post on Facebook.

Bullying
has always exsisted and will continue to exsist because we don't teach
our children value for others and the dignity that we share in being
human. All we teach is Competion, Ambition and Survival of the fitest.
Respect is the basis of all relationships. Human dignity is the most
important thing we can teach children, not us vs them. Success is
possible in greater numbers when we don't crush each other in a blind
desperate reach for a higher social status.

Michelle
Calienes Harvelle So well said! Our society has embraced a mind set of
Competition: Winners & Losers, the strong deserve to dominate the
weak, the poor deserve to suffer for not being mean enough, aggresive
enough, forceful enough to bully "success" out of the hands of others.
We have come to merciless and it's bad for everyone. Only through
collaboration does our species build anything at all - from friendships,
to neighbors to nations. Each of us is a valuable organ in the body of
humanity. The Bullies must be redeemed and the Bullied protected.
Bullying, Domination, Oppression etc. are always wrong. Always. That
includes all victims - no exceptions not even gay men and transgendered
women. NO exceptions set aside for wanton cruelty. Never.

There are other avenues for the family. http://www.scribd.com/ fullscreen/40190330 gives parents the right to ask for a federal investigation from the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights (OCR) and I hope they do.
This particular one disturbed me and I had to comment, along with others

or wait...wait until the spotlight is off and no one is paying attention anymore and then...accidents happen.
Maybe the children that taunted poor Jaime will be hit and killed in a hit-n-run "accident" or maybe they were shot and killed randomly or stabbed in a crowded area. Accidents happen all the time. It's just about time they started happening to these bullies.

Jackson Euler, I so disagree with you on this one. I would never wish
the hate, beatings or rape that I or any one else had has to endure on
anyone, not even those that hate. I do however understand that equality
comes by being the example, and by treating everyone else as you believe
you should be treated. To do what you are saying makes one no different
than those that drove Jamie to his suicide. To insure that the world
knows of the injustices that occur every day in LGBT lives and to be a
just person despite them is the only way to gain true equality for all
Americans. We must lead our country by example.

Deanne Cooley Thanks for your post, Deanne. I hope you are right but I
still disagree with you. A few "mysterious" beatings or "accidents" and
just watch how these attacks stop. If it were my kid, I would be at the
shooting range right now, training for the day that I could take their
lives as they took my child. Maybe 5 years, maybe 10 years, maybe 25
years but justice would be done.
Good luck to you.
Good luck to you.
And, my response...
Barry Mattison · Jackson Euler : I don't know if you realize it, but in a way, your
statement is the statement of a bully and the theme of a gang. Taking
another life for a life is 'Old Testament" and not the answer to
violence. God is about love, not violence and retribution. In as much as
I write and blog daily about this issue in the hopes of ending it, I
would never advocate violence against violence. It takes a strong stand
by a lot of people to put an end to something deemed as wrong and
shameful as bullying. I'll ride the buses, stand in the lines, write,
fight peacefully for change, but I won't hurt another, especially
children who are essentially a copy of their home, family and a sick
society's environment. Pu the blame where it makes the most sense and go
after changing them
Then this final jerk chimes in...in part ;
Then this final jerk chimes in...in part ;
Chris Clowes : It is stupid to think that this is just an online thing. Think before
you speak, especially stupidly Chriso. If you are unable to have control
over or a healthy communication with your children then do not have
children at all. It is your effing responsibility to know what is going
on in their lives, otherwise don't have children like many lesbians
choose to as they do not like children to begin with but that's another
discussion.

Chris Clowes : You toned it down and lost your temper again. Typical angry lesbian. I
feel badly for your children if you have some or plan to. Don't spew
that angry BS onto them or get angrier and bark louder when someone
makes you swallow your own BS. Got it?

The Prophets of Doom : We Are In Far More Than A Depression
I'm just watching a TV program
first aired in the spring of 2011 called "The Prophets of Doom" (link to the entire show) on the History Channel. Discussing the current problems facing our world are
six experts from several fields - financial, environment, energy, computers - who are talking about the crisis we are in now as a country
and drawing the parallels to past civilizations and their
demise.
It's extremely important that people do wake up before the dam has burst, so to speak. In fact, one of them used a dam bursting as an example. People who live several miles downstream from a dam about to rupture worry, fret and try to do something to rectify it. Those a little closer are not as worried, still are concerned, but don't really react in time. But those who live the closest to it don't believe that anything will happen and don't react at all. Their thinking, a protective reaction of the brain that "it can't happen to me", don't say or do anything because they trust that someone built the dam strong enough to not rupture.
Our society is in a crisis in every form - financially, politically and environmentally. But the basic thesis of their discussion is that historically, people refuse to believe that anything can or will happen to them because we are the biggest, we are the strongest, we have everything and dominate by buying, taxation, having the biggest military, and even the best technology.
At some point our country's system, which one of them calls a ponzi scheme, will reach a point of insolvency in which we cannot recover, and by definition, will collapse. This has been shown to be true in every civilization that has risen to the length and breadth that we have. However, due to the level of our technology, our collapse will be different in that it will not be able to recover due to the draining of our natural resources and the fact that they cannot be replaced (oil, water, etc.), the pollution of clean drinking water and food from chemicals and pesticides, the collapse of our financial system, the most obvious one of all at the present that people can relate to. One of the participants proposed an very interesting thought. Dr. Hugo DeGaris thinks that through the vast improvements in the area of Artificial Intelligence, we may be creating the society of the future, which consists of robots and machines that not only can think for themselves, but will do so at the speed of light, a thousand times faster than the fastest human brain operates. His theory postulates that if this point is reached, this new society may consider humans as being inferior and make a logical decision to eliminate us as a species. Of course this is farther down the line than the pressing issues of financial collapse we face now.
Yet even with all this knowledge, a greater percentage of the people still refuse to believe that this can or will happen to us. 1 in 4 Americans is considered to be at Level 1 in the table of literacy. That means that there are roughly 44 million people in America that cannot read, write or express their thought well enough to communicate. A staggering number at the very least. They are among those that live closest to the dam and believe that the politicians and government know more than they do and will always take care of them.
This is a very interesting and relevant look at our forthcoming political, financial and environmental collapse and the discussion was much more than I could express here. I feel that I live way downstream and I'm worried that those who live next to the dam are not waking up fast enough to be able to get to higher ground before the dam bursts and they drown.
So, once again I say to those who live within a few miles of the dam, get up, get involved, participate, get informed, vote, complain, pursue, and let those who believe they are in charge of us that we are here and we are not going to go down with their ship.
In addition to Dr. DeGaris, here are a few names of those involved in the discussion: Michael Ruppert, Dr. Nathan Hagens, John Cronin, James Howard Kunstler.

The Republican Party Of Death | Addicting Info
Once again I go off the beaten path and mission to pass along this information to those who are still blindly going about their lives as if nothing was wrong.
I've repeatedly said this over and over, if we as a people do not get out and pay attention to the current politics of the GOP, you, your family, friends, everybody will soon be either reduced to noting more than slaves of the uber rich, the self-appointed kings of domination. We are headed down a dangerous road and evil path that leads to nothing we've ever seen before.
So here, once again, I repeat to everyone...WE ARE IN SERIOUS TROUBLE! The apathetic and those who don't want to get involved need to wake up. Occupy Wall Street is the only movement that has the opportunity to bring these people down short of another American Revolution. Get involved, read, get on the internet...but don't just blindly walk through the near future thinking that all is well.

Since 2004 in Texas: Slaps on the Wrist for Judicial Misconduct | Addicting Info
The Texas "Good 'ol Boys" group has gathered their wagons around the not-so-honorable Judge Adams who beat his own daughter for nearly 8 minutes as seen in the recent YouTube video. According to information posted in this article on addictinginfo.org, don't expect anything to come of it.
The DA has already informed the world that there will be no prosecution or other action taken in this case, making this one of the most deplorable acts of bullying we've publicly seen lately...except of course for the recent video's of student bullies beating up other students while fellow students look on and cheer.
Here is the contact information for the Texas State Commission on Judicial Conduct, a committee of fellow anti-gay/bully-supporting judges and lawyers that are responsible for disciplining other judges in cases such as this. I found it interesting that there is no way to directly contact them other than through the following channels. I would encourage everyone who believes that this judge should be disbarred to contact this committee and let them know that we are watching, and we are not happy!
"But if anyone’s hoping that the Texas State Commission on Judicial Conduct will wield the mighty axe on Judge Adams, forget it. A review of the Disciplinary Actions by the Texas State Commission on Judicial Conduct from 2004 to the present shows that there was not a single suspension, removal or censure issued that were not ultimately lifted by that Commission for judicial misconduct. And it’s not like Judge Adams – or other sitting judges who were disciplined – hadn’t committed clear judicial violations. "

Gay Man Stabbed, Beaten and Burned in Reno, TX
Via: Towleroad
The Dallas Voice has the details of a hideous hate crime that happened on Sunday, in Reno, Texas:
Burke Burnett said he was at a private party at about 1 a.m. when four men suddenly attacked him, stabbing him at least twice with a broken beer bottle before throwing him onto a fire. His attackers yelled things like “pussy-ass faggot,” “gay bitch” and “c*ck-sucking punk,” Burnett said. Burnett said it took 30 stitches to close stab wounds to his back and forearm, as well as a cut above his left eye. He also sustained second-degree burns and severe bruises.
“They knew I was gay,” Burnett said Monday. “I’m convinced they were trying to kill me.”
Jeff Sugg, interim chief of the Reno Police Department, released a statement Monday afternoon saying: “The Reno Police Department is currently investigating an aggravated assault that took place last weekend. The investigation is ongoing and additional information will be provided when available.”
Burnett says he knows his attackers and was heckled at the party before the assailants began throwing punches. He is staying with a friend and says he's scared to go home, and scared it will "get brushed under the rug" in his small conservative town.
Many more details at this link.

Occupy Wall Street's Battle Against American-Style Authoritarianism
After
reading the article several times, I think that, in general speak, the
author is on target. I believe that over many years, even before
Reagonomics pulled the rug out from under us without the people
realizing it, we have been fed a stream of capitalistic 'logic' that has
led us, much like the sheep mentioned, into a false sense that all is
well.
Meanwhile our individual freedoms were gradually replaced by the rules of the ruling class with the thought that we shouldn't question such changes as everything we do is necessary for 'our protection', and that we should not question this self-authorized authority. When you take a look at the policies of the last 4-5 administrations you can see the pattern of 'dumbing-down' of America by the false media-controlled "truths" shoved down the throats of the people by the ruling class. Unable to distinguish between real and fake because of lack of education, control of information, and upper class "secrets", we have been slowly reduced to the point of being that herd of sheep, ready to accept anything told to us.
The OWS movement is something that has sprung out of the realization that individual freedom no longer exists, the Constitution can be applied as necessary by those who rule against those who don't understand, and that the current political system is evidence that the system is not only broken, but is the cause. So much of this is evidenced daily by the reaction of the police in each state to the OWS movement (e.g. using violence against peaceful protesting, the Republicans motto - "NO" - to anything involving social and financial reform), the reaction of the political machine as it changes reasoning and direction daily according to the corruption of power and the controlling hand of the super rich, and the disassociation of thought in so many comments on so many blogs and social networks left by people of a generation that were fed capitalistic dreams while their freedoms and bank accounts were being slowly, patiently drawn down behind their backs. The next generation seems to be unwilling to accept this, thankfully, and is now fighting against this broken system, but as the article mentions, is not forging ahead with a slogan or single sign, but as a "movement" that will hopefully change the entire system and bring back the capability, and ability, for a free-thinking people to bring socialism and capitalism together to function for the good of all.
That's my opinion only...agree or disagree, but only time is going to tell, and most of us that are commenting seem to be from the baby boomer generation. One I suspect won't be around long enough to see the final outcome of this new change. History does have a tendency to repeat itself.

Anderson Cooper 360 Series - Bullying, It Stops Here
It's 2:30AM and I'm watching the Anderson Cooper 360 series on bullying. Although it seems to air at the wrong time for the people who really need to see it, it's an eye-opening series with co-hosts Kelly Rippa, Dr. Phil, and Rosalind Wiseman; best-selling author of “Queen Bees and Wannabees.” The series also features several students from the now famous Anoka-Hennepin School District, located in Michele Bachmann's district in Minnesota. Seemingly wise beyond their years, these students came on TV and told their stories of how the "neutrality policy" of this school district has not only places their lives in danger, but also fosters and creates a place where bullies are free to say and do whatever they please to other students, knowing that there are no consequences from the teachers and administration. In one story the very intelligent young man told of going to the bathroom and having another student pee on him from above in a stall. As his fellow student pointed out (he's African American), if the "N" word is used against him, more happens to make the bully responsible than if he's called gay, faggot, or other demeaning words.
Dr. Phil pointed out that much of the bullying is the responsibility of the parents, further saying that it's not acceptable for teachers, administrators and parents to say that "it didn't happen on school grounds." His philosophy, and mine, is that bullying starts in the home and parents must be made responsible for the actions of their kids. The excuse that "they never said anything to me" doesn't hold water with Dr. Phil, who says that it doesn't make a difference what they don't say, it's the parents job to know what their kids are doing in their rooms, behind locked doors, what they are saying on the FaceBook page (a sponsor of the program) and MySpace pages, and who they are hanging out with and why.
In my very first blog about bullying I said the very same ting. Parents must take responsibility for the actions of their kids, whether they're a bully or being bullied. But this district seems to be one of the exceptions in that parents are almost equally divided in their thought that bullying is/is not an issue. Yet the rate of suicide among teens in this district is the highest in the country in the last few years, resulting in the deaths of more than six teens from bullying. Yet officials, including Bachmann, remain mute and unapproachable about changing the policy of neutrality.
In a short camera clip caught on tape one teacher actually reprimanded a bullied student in front of the bully because he didn't walk away or ignore the bully's taunting. It was a clip that would make anyone mad enough to want to shake that teacher and say, "WAKE UP STUPID," what are you thinking and saying by blaming the bullied kid for being pushed around and called names by others. Neutrality is a dangerous attitude and it must be changed. That's the goal of these segments and hopefully, along with a new program circulating around the internet that asks people to pledge to stop bullying, it will change. But as we know, change comes slow. Meanwhile our kids are dying an emotional, and often physical death while teachers, administrators, parents and politicians stand by and either ignore, or in the case of the Anoka-Hennepin School District, actually encourage bullying.
I encourage each of you to sign the Anti-Bullying Pledge on the internet and join the 73,000 people that have already signed. The pledge is available on this blog 24/7 or go to ac360.com to sign up.

Michael Bloomberg tells Occupy Wall Street protesters to lay off banks - Mackenzie Weinger - POLITICO.com
It seems as though New York's corporate sponsored Mayor is not liking how the people are going against his wishes. Since he is one of "them" on Wall Street, and made a lot of his millions there and through his large handouts from them, he's now stuck in a bad place. As politicians typically do, he is twisting the truth into more lies about how well his Wall Street cronies create so many jobs. It's a little early for April Fool's Day Mayor!
This isn't just small protest happening in "his" city, it's all across the country, growing, and now forming into a real movement. Too late Mayor...call your dogs off (the $4.9 million, JP Morgan sponsored NYPD.)

Jurors Say Brandon McInerney Deserves Leniency Because Larry King was the Bully |Gay News|Gay Blog Towleroad
WTF! Are these jurors on the medicinal (but illegal in the eyes of the Feds) marijuana? McInerney shoots King in the back of the head twice, in class, with all his classmates watching in horror and King is the bully? Where does this stuff come from? Forget that last question...we all know the answer, duh! Homophobic, closet cases with an anti-gay agenda. What was I thinking?
The L.A. Times adds:
The L.A. Times adds:
One juror, identified only as Lisa S. because she did not want her whole name used, said many jurors came to believe that King was bullying McInerney by making unwanted sexual advances. "This wasn't about him being gay,'' she said. "This was about bullying. There was a ton of evidence that Larry was acting inappropriately with other kids at school, and they didn't do anything to stop him."
As for the new case, she added: "It was overcharged and an abuse of power, and I don't think a new jury will see it any different."I for one hope that a new jury will see through all this B***S*** and convict him for the murderer he is. Take out all the gay issues, etc., this was a pre-meditated murder, open and shut!
SARAHPAC-Sarah Palin's personal money bank from well (deep well) wishers?
You have to give her credit...or maybe not! Sarah Palin, recent Governor of Alaska (from where Russia is able to be seen) is still collecting money from people thinking she is going to run for president in 2012. Just like the other Republican hopefuls, she is having fun spending that money on personal items having nothing to do with politics and a run for the White House (how about that nice touring bus, eh?).
Jon Stewart is best at wringing out the truth about her and others. This video is a must see!

RealClearPolitics - Behind the Popular Blog of Washington Conservatives
We've been reading the articles blogged by the so-called Bi-partisan RealClearPolitics that claims to be the frontrunner in presenting impartial news regarding current political events. Some of their contributors include NOM's Maggie Gallagher and other Religious based bloggers.
From their "About Us page:
We have researched just a little bit and found out that this site is actually 51% owned and controlled by Forbes Media. (Wikipiedia)

Founded in 2000 by John McIntyre and Tom Bevan, Chicago-based RealClearPolitics covers all aspects of the U.S. political process including policy, elections and government.
We have researched just a little bit and found out that this site is actually 51% owned and controlled by Forbes Media. (Wikipiedia)
Forbes Media announced on November 7, 2007 that it had acquired a 51% stake in RealClearPolitics.com. The founders will remain owners and management. In November, 2008, Forbes President and CEO Steve Forbes sent a memo directing that the company's online brands, including Forbes.com, Investopedia and RealClearPolitics.com be combined. RealClearPolitics also owns RealClearMarkets, RealClearWorld and RealClearSports. RealClearMarkets and RealClearSports were launched in November 2007. RealClearWorld, the international news and politics site, was launched in August 2008. RealClearScience and RealClearReligion launched in October 2010.It seems that a lot of things are NOT "RealClear"!

Wall Street Protest Video taped by FOX - but refused to Air by FOX
A FOX News reported promised that this Wall Street protestor could say what he wanted and it would air on FOX without editing, yet it never showed because it was the truth, the interviewee knew what he was talking about, AND, he openly stated his views on the one-sided viewpoint of FOX News/TV. Here's the interview taken on the street:

Forrester resume misleads :: WRAL.com
We just blogged on this guy, and now it seems that Senator Forrester is not only misrepresenting facts about the LGBTQ community to the public and on his resume, but has also lied on his website and campaign webpage that he is: a Fellow of the American College of Preventative Medicine (Michael Barry, the executive director of the American College of Preventive Medicine, says Forrester is not and has never been a Fellow
of the College), a member of the American Medical Association (an AMA spokesperson says Forrester is not currently a member of the group), and also an Associate Fellow of the Aerospace Medical Association (but his name does not appear on the associate fellows' list at that organization's website.)
So, not only does this elected official of the people misrepresent himself to his constituents and the public, but he also appears to be a pathological liar. No wonder he couldn't answer gay advocate Michael Signorile’s questions (see previous blog.)
What's more amazing is how long he has been able to keep up his self-made credentials, but that the Republican party and some of the public support him in his recent proposition to place the anti-gay ballot initiative before the people in North Carolina. But, as this discovery (thanks to blogger Scott Rose, a contributor to the GLBT blog Pam’s House Blend) should seriously affect the upcoming ballot vote...or at least it should. We'll see how much he's managed to buffalo his campaing workers and constituents. In the end, it always comes down to this: What Goes Around, Comes Around!

Rep. Phillip Hinkle (R-IA) Accused of Hiring a Gay 18yo For Sex
Indian District 92 Representative Phillip Hinkle has once again shown the hypocrisy of a lot of politicians on both sides of the fence. The difference here is that not only is Hinkle a staunch anti-gay Republican, but also advertised and paid for a young, black guy to come to his place for sex.
Although the original ad for a "sugga daddy" was placed by the teen on Craigslist, Hinkle answered and offered to pay $140 for an encounter. When the teen found out the guy was a politician he tried to get out of the room but was held there by Hinkle, who offered money for him to keep quiet about the incident. Of course, as is usual with politicians, a coverup might be in the process and Hinkle denies any sex occurred. After all, who's going to believe an unemployed, 18 year old black teenager in the white wold of politics and scandal?
Hopefully the truth will come out and Hinkle will retire from his office, another shamed and "outed" politician exposed for what he really is: a closeted, gay pedophile. Too bad for the GOP he is one of "them."

Screaming “Faggot” While Beating Person To Death Apparently Not A Hate Crime / Queerty
Here is another case that should be hitting the headlines, but isn't, most likely because it happened in Michele Bachmann's hometown. Charges haven't even been filed against the "perps" yet, and may not. This is the power of politics at its best. I blogged about this case previously, and here is the update:
This was my comment online at Queerty.com:
It seems as though this outright, hate filled and gay related murder, occurring in Bachmann's hometown, is being covered up so as a not to reflect on the growing number of hate crimes and teen suicides in her area and state. The police should have filed charges by now, and certainly would have if this had happened to any of Bachmann's followers. The power of politics and politicians (especially those running for president) is something that even we can't fathom without being "on the inside." This is pure cover-up at its finest. The more we spread this around in our blogs the more attention it will hopefully receive until something is done to bring the murderer(s) to justice, since they've already been identified but not charged. Michele Bachmann must also be held accountable for fostering this anti-gay, hate-filled rant and rabble that surrounds her and is the tidal wave upon which she is riding her way to running this country. May the "real God" intercede and stop her bullshit for once and for all. This country is heading down the road towards being less than a 3rd world country, run by a few people who can dictate how the rest of us will live or die. 19-year-old Marcellus Andrews was beaten to death last week in Michele “Gacy” Bachmann’s hometown of Waterloo, Iowa. But even though his attackers yelled “faggot” while repeatedly kicking him in the head, the Waterloo police have decided not to investigate the case as a hate crime They also haven’t made any arrests despite the testimony of two women who witnessed the attack. Say what?Queerty.com
